Everyone remembers their favorite toys from when they were young. Some toys become popular for generations, while others leave a small mark along an ever growing timeline of toy history. Whether short lived or long standing, the toys we had the most fun with seem to embed themselves in our memories. Girl Gone Strong – Maria Sauserman
Clutching her robe shut, Maria navigates backstage through a mass of bodybuilders and physique models, many standing in front of mirrors flexing their muscles. Confidence cannot be an issue here; there is absolutely no privacy for her to change into her bikini. She listens to the announcements from the front of the stage, ducks behind the only pillar in the room to put on her suit, and hurries in line with the other women. “Love! Love!” yells a hulk-like staff member, as he waves her over. “Have you sprayed your bum?” Apparently she had forgotten a small, but important detail. Running Out Of Passion – Mitch Radella
Mitch Radella’s New Balances have trekked the mountainous terrain of Pittsburgh, kicked through the grainy sands of Hawaii, and explored through the sub-levels of Kansas City. Radella, born in Maryland and resident of Cranberry Township for the past forty years, has traveled far beyond local borders to participate in as many running events as he can touch his feet onto. Since 1982, Mitch has participated in nearly 3,000 races, and with a lifetime goal of completing 5,000, he has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
